Originally from Rimbey, Alberta, Jennifer majored in Art and Design in college. She moved to Prince Rupert, BC in 2006. Along with her mother she introduced gel nails to the Prince Rupert community and opened a gel nail studio which ended up employing 5 additional technicians. She has recently been working solo from her home for almost 3 years.Living in a remote area, Jennifer keeps up with the trends via instagram @tipzbyjenn and online courses. She specializes in Soft Japanese Art, 3D art and one stroke flowers. She was certified by Corrine Hunter at A Nail Above the Rest in Lacombe, AB, achieving her Basic Gel Nail Certification and Masters. Verna Morrissette
While working full time as an Educational Assistant at her local high school, Verna was certified at “A Nail Above the Rest” in March 2013. She began doing nails full time in the fall of 2013 when she had a health crisis that required her attention. When asked about her art, this is what Verna had to say, “I’ve always loved art in it’s many forms. I believe women are like art…each are beautiful in their own unique way. So my love for art & making women feel good just naturally go hand in hand with doing nails. I love a challenge so there is very little I will not attempt, either on practice nails or on those clients that are willing to sit while I create. Natalie Kinal
Graduating from Lakeland College in 2012 with honors, Natalie is a nail tech/ clinical aesthetician. Passionate about everything nails, Natalie continues her education through advanced training. Using both acrylic along with gel; she specializes in 3D art and hand painting. Natalie devotes ample amount of time to prep work as well as shaping. Naomi Javadian
Naomi’s love for nails began with painting her friends nails at the tender age of 11! When she was 14, a family member opened her own nail bar in England, where Naomi was introduced to the world of sculpted nails. This is when she knew in her heart of hearts that she wanted to be a nail technician! Naomi became a certified nail technician in 2012. She absolutely loves doing nails and will forever be a proud nail technician. Naomi fell in love with Amore products and became an Amore Ambassador in May of 2018. Kelcie Olson
Kelcie completed her nail training course in 2009 with Corrine Hunter at A Nail Above the Rest in Lacombe, AB. Shortly after, Kelcie began working at Corrine’s Spa where she gained invaluable experience as a team member working with other nail technicians. In 2011, Kelcie pursued advanced training with ANAR obtaining Master Nail Tech and Educator status which enabled her to teach at ANAR until 2016. In 2016, she left the position to take on a new position of “New Mom”, giving birth to a baby boy! After maternity leave, Kelcie opened up her own business with the help of her AWESOME husband who custom built her a shop in their family home. Attending trade shows and workshops is a highlight for Kelcie and keeps her inspired and loving her nail career. She feels blessed to have been given the opportunities that she has had throughout her career and she is grateful to be part of the Amore Family. Theresa Stone
Theresa has been a Gel Nail Technician and Pedicurist operating out of her home in Edmonton, AB. After working in the Autobody for 8.5 years she decided it was time to go back to her true passions; art and the beauty industry.
As an avid nail client herself for close to 10 years, Theresa was intrigued by all the different types of art that could be done on a nail. The possibilities are endless! She started to think about how cool it would be if that were her job! In August 2015 Theresa decided to make it happen. She became certified through INT and in 2016 quit her Autobody reception job to pursue nails full time. Jodi Schlitt
In 2017 Jodi got her nails done by her niece who needed a model for her nail tech training in Saskatchewan. This was the very first time Jodi had her nails done and she was surprised at how pretty it made her feel. It had her questioning how happy she would be if she could make other women feel this way! So she did some research and signed up for Kari McQuitty’s beginner nail tech course at All About Nails in Strathmore, AB. With the support of her family. She took a leap and left a career in logistics and started working a couple side jobs while training to be a certified nail tech. Fast forward to 2019 and there is no more side jobs required. Nails are her full time gig in her home based salon. She’s very passionate about what she does and is very proud to be using the complete Amore Ultima Gel System. She loves all the colors and glitter, the ability to experiment with art and having the product knowledge to trouble shoot using the Amore gels to ensure that her clients get the very best nails possible. Heather Klemmer
Heather began her nail career in 2006, after spending a few years as a Esthetician she took the Nail Technician course, and never looked back. She grew her business over 6 years in her studio in Three Hills, then moved to Olds in 2012 where she currently works full time in her home Studio. Some of her clients have been with her since day 1, which she is very grateful for their support over the years.
In 2012 she took her first nailart course with Kari McQuitty, and her nail career was forever changed. After a sample kit of Amore products, attending more classes with Kari, she quickly grew her clientele with her new skills, amazing product line and industry support. Heather is the mom of 3 grown kids and 1 grand son. She is passionate about her family, traveling and tea. After 14 years, Heather says doing her own nails is still her least favorite thing to do. Heather is dedicated to her work, knowing that this is a service based industry she wants to give the best experience to her clients. Victoria lives in the city of Lacombe where she was born and raised. Since a young age, she has had an exceptional eye for detail and perfection in everything that she does. Graduating from the Lacombe Outreach in June of 2017, Victoria embarked on her journey of becoming a gel nail technician through A Nail Above The Rest in the fall of 2017. Originally from Newfoundland Holly moved to Fort McMurray 15 years ago. Working as a warehouse technician she decided she would take a gel nail course.

Tabitha has been a certified nail technician through All About Nails, by Kari McQuitty, since 2013. What drew Tabitha to becoming a nail tech was being her own boss and the ability to be creative while making women feel pretty. She ran her salon out of her home until January 2017 when she joined All About Nails in Strathmore. Tabitha loves to create with her clients and enjoys all aspects of nail art. Wendy Mockford is a Certified Nail Technician, she owns her own salon in Strathmore, where she was raised and is proud to have her own business, Inspire Nails by Wendy. Kat has always had an affinity for drawing and artistic expression. She became a certified nail technician in 2013 and hasn’t looked back! She is an adventurous experimenter and is always trying to master the newest designs and loves to teach others how to achieve them. Jodie began her nail career in 2009. She is a Journeyperson Nail Technician and a Certified Swarovski Nail Technician. Jodie believes education is the key to moving forward in this industry. She has advanced her skills by training with many Nail Masters including Pauline Feinauer, Emese Koppanyi, Amy Becker, Olesja Nikolenko, Carla Collier, Sam Biddle and more. Kelly trained with Corrine Hunter at “A Nail Above the Rest” in 2009. She loved the fact that she could earn an income for her family while staying home with her children. Now 10 years later, she has an even deeper passion for the industry. Megan Has been a cosmetologist since 2010 and received her Journeyperson’s as a Hair stylist in 2013. Then in 2018 She received her Journeyperson’s in Nail care Technician and Skin Care Technician. She runs an in-home salon called The Black Orchid Beauty Bar in the city of Martensville where you can book in for services and one on one training. Megan is extremely passionate about education and in 2017-2019 was the head of education at Nove Academy in Saskatoon. All of her students can agree that she has passion for this industry and likes to stress about proper sanitization practices in their own salon. They will also agree that even though she encourages them to use and try multiple gel systems she still always goes back to recommending Amore Products! Helena Killinger
Helena became a certified nail technician in June of 2018. She is married with 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls). Helena has always been artistic and growing up dreamed of becoming a hairdresser. That never came to pass, but a friend introduced her to doing nails, and she was hooked. Before nails, she worked as a Bookkeeping Manager for 15 years. Helena owns and operates in her home-based salon now, and it’s Helena’s full-time job. She loves doing nails, as it’s flexible and she can be available for her family whenever they need her, as well as enjoying what she does and getting paid for it! Helena also has an Autistic son, as well as a nephew and brother with severe special needs. Helena is very passionate for any special needs projects and helping where she can, and educating people on the different types of disabilities and creating awareness. Julie Funk
Julie started getting her nails done back in 2004 as a way to stop biting, they were sooooo short! Julie’s nail tech used mostly Amore products on me, and she was loving them as they always stayed on, even while Julie milked the cows!! Julie’s husband passed away in 2010 and she had to find a job that would allow her to support her two young sons and be able to stay home. Julie decided to take a nail tech course, and made sure to find someone who taught with Amore products. Julie wanted the same quality she enjoyed on her own nails. Julie was certified in 2011 and knew she found her dream job. Julie loves working with Amore Ultima products, the quality and durability makes it her go to product.
